Reveiw of Faceclin Anti-Acne Gel

If you have oily skin like mine then you must be aware of the skin problems that come along with oily skin like large and clogged pores, blackheads, whiteheads, and acne. I have been dealing with acne since I was 15. I have tried so many products on my skin but none could deliver what they claimed i.e. acne-free skin. But recently my friend recommended I try Faceclin gel by Abbott. So I have been using this gel for about one month and I thought of sharing my review about this product. So If you are also looking for something to clear your acne out, you must give this a read.

  1.        Clindamycin Phosphate – Clindamycin is an antibiotic that works by reducing the bacteria causing acne. It inhibits the growth of acne-causing bacteria.
  2.   Nicotinamide  This is a vitamin with anti-inflammatory properties, it also reduces the sebum production which in turn helps in reducing acne.
  3.            In Aloe, allantoin base with Ethyl lactate

Product quantity: 20 g

Price: Rs. 159

It comes in a white tube and has a shelf of life of 36 months. The packaging is very travel friendly.

Directions to use:

As prescribed by the Physician. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. (These are the directions from manufacturers, printed on the tube itself). Store this at a temperature below 30 degrees and do not freeze. Keep this out of reach of children.

How I use it:

I apply this gel to the affected area at night and leave it overnight. Then I simply wash it off using a herbal cleanser in the morning.  Don't apply it near your eyes, mouth, and nostrils.

Some people might feel dryness or slight flakiness on their skin. And you might feel slight burning on the first time application. But I didn’t face any of the side-effects. My sister uses this as well and she felt a little burning sensation when she applied it for the first time.

I would highly recommend this gel It has worked wonders for me. It started showing results within a week and I could finally see my face sans acne after such a long time. And trust me if it can treat my stubborn acne it can treat anyone's acne. So do give this a try and share your experience with me.

P.S. – Don’t assume this as any medical or professional advice as I have just shared my experience with all of you. If you have any doubt please consult with your dermatologist first :)
